Go with the samsung S24U if you are finding it cheaper. Everything is good in that except video recording i would say. Iphones are pretty good in video recording, when it comes to normal day to day photos both of them are good but I prefer iphones more because of their colourisation. when it comes to ui, features, performance, battery, display both are good but i again prefer iphone ui and apple ai will also be implemented making it a worth it phone + the design I don't like square phones although it's subjective
